Ministry of Finance: Citizens Budget Guide 2025/26
The Ministry of Finance is pleased to announce the publication of the Citizens Budget Guide for the 2025/26 financial year.
This Guide has been developed to provide the public with a clear and accessible overview of the National Budget. It explains how Government raises revenue and allocates expenditure to deliver essential services, infrastructure, and programs that support the wellbeing of all Tongans.
By simplifying key budget information, the Citizens Budget Guide enhances transparency and accountability in the management of public resources. It also demonstrates how Government’s spending priorities are aligned with Tonga’s national development goals.
